Use Multiple Graphics to Make Your Message Stand Out

multiple-graphics

Each of ThinLight’s light panels uses ThinLight’s patented snap frames to hold graphics securely in place. Those snap frames contain springs that are so strong they are difficult to open with bare hands and are sturdy enough to hold not one, but multiple layers of graphics firmly and securely in place. The option of adding a second layer to a light panel gives customers more design choices for each of their light panels and using multiple graphics adds depth to the image through shadowing and highlighting.

Benefits of multiple graphics

Adding a second layer to a light panel can improve the effectiveness of your message. By layering graphics, you can create the illusion of a 3-D image or make your graphic appear to be moving. Multiple layers can be designed to help images stand out and catch people’s eye.

Benefits of flash/fade technology

Multiple graphic layers are often paired with ThinLight’s flash/fade technology, giving customers countless options for making their graphic memorable and unique. Programmable flash/fade technology allows customers to control and customize the lighting levels of their light panel, and it is often used to sequentially highlight sections of a modular light panel or further create the illusion of movement.

Still the most reliable source of LED lighting

Customers are occasionally concerned that adding a second layer to their LED light sign will reduce the visibility of their sign and make their image darker. However, in spite of adding an extra layer, the LED lights in Thinlight products have no problem illuminating graphics message just as brightly as they do with one layer of graphic. By using Thinlight’s patented etching process in the acrylic used in each sign, light is evenly diffused across the panel, resulting in an evenly lit graphic with no shadows or bright spots.
